This collection presents over 1,470 bronze coins of the Macedonian kings that derive from three important private collections: The Alpha Bank collection in Athens, the Ch. Hersh collection, part of which is now in the British Museum and the D. Portolos collection which has been donated to the Archaeological Museum of Thessalonike.
