The Modern Greek Visual Prosopography is a collection of more than 12,000 digitized portraits of Greek men and women who have attained distinction in every sphere of life, from the fall of Constantinople (1453) to the present day (living individuals not included).

The transxcription of the Greek characters to Latin characters was based on ELOT’s 743, version 2 Hellenic National Standard.
Content (material included)
The portraits take the form of wood-cuts, engravings, oil-paintings, lithographs, sketches and photographs, and are kept in collections in Greece and abroad.
