Στοιχείο: Όπως προκύπτει από συμβόλαιο της Ζακύνθου, εργαζόταν ως αγιογράφος στο νησί το 1672. Σύμφωνα με υπογραφή εικόνας του ήταν εβραίος και βαφτίστηκε χριστιανός το 1676. Στις 9 Μαϊου 1687 ο Γιώργος Νομικός ζωγράφος εγγράφηκε αδελφός του ναού του Αγίου Νικολάου των Ξένων στην Κεφαλονιά, και υποσχέθηκε για το αδελφάτο... να κάμει δύο εορτάδες του τέμπλου και να 'χει δώσει το αρτοφόρι με χρυσάφι.

Το πρόγραμμα αποσκοπεί στη δημιουργία ενός Αρχείου για τους Έλληνες Ζωγράφους μετά την Άλωση (1450-1830), που περιλαμβάνει τα βιογραφικά τους στοιχεία και πλήρη κατάλογο των έργων τους, φορητών εικόνων και τοιχογραφιών, των οποίων δεν έχει γίνει καμία συστηματική καταγραφή στην Ελλάδα.

The programme aims to build up an archive of Greek painters after the fall of Constantinople (1450-1830), with biographical details and an index of their works, whether portable icons or church frescoes. A systematic record of artists and their paintings for this period has not been attempted in Greece before.
