Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος γαλλο-ιταλικής καταγωγής (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), που εγκαταστάθηκε στο Δουκάτο του Αιγαίου τον 14ο αιώνα και εξουσίασε τα νησιά Πάρο, Αντίπαρο και Άνδρο, ενώ κατείχε και φέουδα στη Νάξο.[ + ]
Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος γαλλο-ιταλικής καταγωγής (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), που εγκαταστάθηκε στο Δουκάτο του Αιγαίου τον 14ο αιώνα και εξουσίασε τα νησιά Πάρο, Αντίπαρο και Άνδρο, ενώ κατείχε και φέουδα στη Νάξο. Κατά τον 19ο αιώνα δύο από αυτούς διετέλεσαν προξενικοί πράκτορες της Ολλανδίας στη Νάξο. Σε μέλος της οικογένειας αυτής, απόγονοι της οποίας συνεχίζουν να υπάρχουν στο νησί, ανήκει το εικονιζόμενο οικόσημο, που βρίσκεται στην Καθολική Αρχιεπισκοπή στο Κάστρο της Νάξου.

Historical Notice: Noble family with French and Italian origins (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), established in the Duchy of Archipelago in the 14th century, who ruled the islands of Paros, Antiparos and Andros, while possessing feuds in Naxos as well.[ + ]
Historical Notice: Noble family with French and Italian origins (Sommerive, Sommariva, Sommaripa), established in the Duchy of Archipelago in the 14th century, who ruled the islands of Paros, Antiparos and Andros, while possessing feuds in Naxos as well. During the 19th c., two of them served as consuls of Holland in Naxos. This particular coat-of-arms belongs to a member of this family (which still exist on the island up to this day) and is to be found in the Catholic Archdiocese, in the citadel of Naxos.
