Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος Βενετών ευγενών, ένας κλάδος του οποίου είχε εγκατασταθεί και είχε αποκτήσει φέουδα στην περιφέρεια των Χανίων της Κρήτης. Το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο ανήκει στον ιερομόναχο Ιερεμία-Ιωάννη Τζαγκαρόλο ή στον αδελφό του Λαυρέντιο-Λουκά, οι οποίοι (μαζί και με άλλους συγγενείς τους) εγκατέλειψαν το ρωμαιοκαθολικό δόγμα και προσχώρησαν στο ελληνορθόδοξο, ανοικοδομώντας και διευθύνοντας διαδοχικά την φερώνυμη Μονή της Αγίας Τριάδος στο Ακρωτήρι Χανίων.

Historical Notice: Venetian noble family, a branch of which settled and acquired feudal estates in the Chania area of Crete. This particular coat-of-arms belongs to the monk Jeremiah-Ioannis Zancarolo, or to his brother Laurentius-Lucas, both of which (along with other relatives) renounced Roman Catholicism and converted to the Greek Orthodox faith, restoring and consecutively administrating the Agia Triada Monastery, in the Akrotiri of Chania.
