Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Φαναριώτικη οικογένεια εγκατεστημένη στη Νάξο και τη Ζάκυνθο, με τίτλο ευγενείας από τον 15ο αιώνα. Μέλη του κλάδου που εγκαταστάθηκε στη Νάξο (1628-1925), εγκατέλειψαν το ελληνορθόδοξο δόγμα και προσχώρησαν στον ρωμαιοκαθολικό. Υπήρξαν ιδιοκτήτες αρχοντικού στο Κάστρο, πύργων στο Χαλκί και στις Μέλανες, καθώς και προξενικοί πράκτορες της Bρετανίας (19ος αι.).
Historical Notice: Fanariote family, established in Naxos and Zakynthos, with a title of nobility since the 15th c. Members of the branch established in Naxos (1628-1925) renounced the Greek Orthodox faith and converted to Roman Catholicism. They possessed a mansion in the citadel of Naxos, two tower-houses at Chalki and Melanes, and they served as consuls of Britain (19th c.).
