Ταύτιση φορέα του οικόσημου: Πάπας Ρώμης Πίος Β' (1458-1464)
Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οικογένεια Ιταλών ευγενών από την περιοχή της Siena. Το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο ανήκει στο μέλος της οικογένειας Enea Silvio de' Piccolomini, ο οποίος διετέλεσε Πάπας της Ρώμης ως Πίος Β', όπως επιβεβαιώνεται και από τα παπικά εμβλήματα (την τιάρα και τα διασταυρούμενα κλειδιά) που συνοδεύουν το οικόσημό του.
Identification of the bearer: Roman Catholic Pope Pius II (1458-1464)
Historical Notice: Italian noble family from the region of Siena. The arms presented here belong to Enea Silvio de' Piccolomini, after he was elected Pope of Rome by the name of Pius II, as confirmed by the presence of the symbols of papal power (the tiara and the two crossed keys), accompanying his shield.
