Ταύτιση φορέα του οικόσημου: Marco Antonio Diedo, Βενετός γενικός προνοητής θαλάσσης (1728-1731)
Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος Βενετών πατρικίων, που έδωσε μεταξύ των άλλων ένα δούκα της Κρήτης (15ος αι.). Εδώ απεικονίζεται το οικόσημο του γενικού προνοητή της θαλάσσης Marco Antonio Diedo. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η Κέρκυρα διετέλεσε υπό βενετική κυριαρχία για δύο περιόδους, από το 1204 έως το 1214 και από το 1386 έως το 1797.

Historical Notice: Venetian patrician house, including a duke of Crete (15th c.). Depicted here is the coat-of-arms of the provveditore generale da mar Marco Antonio Diedo. Kerkyra was under Venetian rule during two periods, from 1204 to 1214 and from 1386 to 1797.
