Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Εραλδικό σύνολο με τα οικόσημα (από αριστερά προς τα δεξιά) των Βενετών αξιωματούχων Pietro Civran, συμβούλου, Daniele Barbarigo, δούκα Κρήτης, Gerolamo Priuli, δόγη Βενετίας, Daniele Venier, γενικού καπιτάνου Χάνδακα και Lorenzo Marcello, συμβούλου (βλ. επιμέρους θυρεούς). Τοποθετήθηκε στα τείχη του Ηρακλείου με την ευκαιρία οχυρωματικών εργασιών του έτους 1565.

Historical Notice: Heraldic ensemble bearing the coats-of arms of the Venetian officials (from left to right) Pietro Civran, counselor, Daniele Barbarigo, duke of Crete, Gerolamo Priuli, doge of Venice, Daniele Venier, captain general of Candia and Lorenzo Marcello, counselor (see each coat-of-arms in particular). It was posed on the walls of Irakleio during the works of fortification carried out in 1565. Irakleio was under Venetian rule from the early 13th century to 1669.
