Identification of the bearer: Catholic bishop from the Zustinian family
Historical Notice: Venetian patrician house, including a doge of Venice (17th c.) and nine dukes of Crete (13th, 14th, 15th και 16th c.). This particular coat-of-arms belongs to a member of that family who became catholic bishop, since it bears a bishop's ecclesiastical hat with six tassels on each side arranged in three rows of one, two and three.
