Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Το έμβλημα του Βασιλείου της Γαλλίας, ο εστεμμένος θυρεός με τα εραλδικά κρινάνθεμα (τρία από το 1376), κοσμεί τον πύργο του μόλου στο λιμάνι της Ρόδου. Τέθηκε προς τιμήν του Λουδοβίκου ΙΑ' (1461-1483), λόγω της οικονομικής ενίσχυσης που προσέφερε για την ανοικοδόμησή του (1465).
Historical Notice: Τhe well-known emblem of the Kingdom of France, bearing the fleurs-de-lis (three since 1376), is posed on the Molos tower of the port of Rodos. Its presence honours Louis XI (1461-1483), since he co-financed its construction (1465).
