Ταύτιση φορέα του οικόσημου: Ιάκωβος Σφόρτσα-Κάστρι (17ος αιώνας)

Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οίκος Βενετσιάνικης καταγωγής, που εγκαταστάθηκε στη Νάξο περί τον 16ο αιώνα και απέκτησε σημαντικά φέουδα. Σε μέλος της οικογένειας αυτής ανήκει το εικονιζόμενο οικόσημο, με χρονολογία 1694, που βρίσκεται στο αρχοντικό Δελλαρόκκα, που στεγάζει σήμερα το Βενετσιάνικο Μουσείο. Πρόκειται για τον Iacobus Sforza Castri, γιό του Crusinus, ο οποίος φέρεται στην επιγραφή να έχει ολοκληρώσει την κατασκευή της οικογενειακής οικίας το 1694.

Historical Notice: Venetian family established in Naxos since the 16th c., where it acquired important feuds. This particular coat-of-arms, dated 1694, is to be found in the Della Rocca mansion (ex-Sforza-Castri), in the citadel of Naxos (actually sheltering the Venetian Musemum). It belongs to Iacobus Sforza Castri, son of Crusinus, who completed the building of the family mansion, in the year 1694.
