Ιστορικό Σημείωμα: Οικογένεια προκρίτων της Πάρου, της οποίας το επώνυμο μαρτυρείται στο νησί από τον 17ο αιώνα. Μέλη της οικογένειας υπήρξαν ιδιοκτήτες πύργου στα Ψυχοπιανά (Επισκοπιανά) Πάρου, κτήτορες του Ναού Αγίων Αναργύρων στην Παροικιά, αφιερωτές σε διάφορους ναούς, ιερείς και μοναχοί. Το συγκεκριμένο οικόσημο (λέων όρθιος αριστερόστροφος που κρατά ράβδο ή δενδρύλλιο) βρίσκεται σε εικόνα της Παναγίας Παντάνασσας στο τέμπλο του Ναού των Ταξιαρχών στην Παροικιά. Βασιζόμενοι στα αρχικά Μ, Ν και Α, C που συνοδεύουν το οικόσημο, οι μελετητές (Αναστάσιος Ορλάνδος, Νίκος Αλιπράντης) το αποδίδουν στον Μανουήλ Αλισάφη, ο τάφος του οποίου βρίσκεται στο Ναό Αγίων Αναργύρων στην Παροικιά. Εκεί, το οικόσημο συνοδεύεται από δικέφαλο αετό.

Historical Notice: Family of notables of Paros, including the owners of a tower-house at Psychopiana (Episkopiana), the founders of the church of Agioi Anargyroi in Paroikia, donors in various other churches, priests and monks. The family name is detected in the islands of Paros, Milos and Naxos, since the 17th c. This particular coat-of-arms (lion rampant looking left and holding a stick or a young tree), is depicted on the icon of Panagia Pantanassa, in the church of Taxiarches (Paroikia). Based on the presence of the letters Μ, Ν and Α, C, some scholars (Anastasios Orlandos, Nikos Aliprantis) assume that it belonged to Manouil Alisafis, whose coat-of-arms is also to be found on his grave, in the church of Agioi Anargyroi in Paroikia (accompanied there by a double-headed eagle).
