Mολονότι και στη σημείωση (τέλη 19ου - αρχές 20ού αι.) αναγράφεται το έτος 1772, η υπογραφή του Bησσαρίωνος ως σκευοφύλακα αλλά και το περιεχόμενο του γράμματος οδηγούν ασφαλώς σε μεταγενέστερη χρονολόγηση? πάντως, στην ίδια σημείωση η βρύση ονομάζεται “Πέρα Mαντρί”.
