Historical Notice: Venetian patrician house, including a doge of Venice (16th c.) and two dukes of Crete (15th and 16th c.). Although this particular coat-of-arms bears the ducal corne (hat), the scholar I. Typaldos-Laskaratos estimates that it probably belongs to a member of the branch settled in Kerkyra (16th c.).
